here's a shot of the police out on the NE corner of 1st and seaton, keeping an eye on things at night last week. at least that vacant store serves a good purpose sometimes--it makes a great potential launching pad.
that's quite comforting... i'm moving to rhode island and north capital this weekend and whereas i've been a dc girl at heart for a long time, i must admit i'm a bit worried about moving into the big bad city from my comfortable burbs :) this blog has provided wonderful insight and information to my clueless self... yay police on the corner at night!
you don't have to use your real name, you can use a pseudonym, but it would be preferable if you don't just post anonymously. in order to carry on a conversation, for everyone's benefit, it would be nice to know who we're talking to.
