they've boarded up the front door of this old abandoned store, after leaving it with just a metal gate since i'd moved in.

Were you in the 'hood when dudes would put Bark-O-Loungers and Laz-E-Boy recliners out in front of that place and sit there all day, in all weather?
nope, unfortunately, i'm too new for that. but i do watch the usual crew get there at about 7:30 every morning, rain or shine, hot or cold, to hang out, drink, read the express, and ogle women. highly entertaining theater.
