today i went on the H Street NE Alley Tour, which was put together and led by richard layman and sponsored by cultural tourism dc. it was quite informative, and i just had a damn good time getting to see what some of the alley houses were like on the inside (as well as hearing richard tell us what the city isn't doing to make itself world-class. someday, someday...) i only wish i could have gone on more of the tours the last two days.flickr photos here (and yes, i'm not an accomplished photographer).
