february 7—the next mcmillan meeting
there were a couple comments on previous posts about the mcmillan sand filtration project asking if the meeting that was supposed to happen on january 24th had happened.that meeting did not, in fact, occur when we were told it would. but, it will be taking place on february 7th. the flyer announcing the meeting can be seen above. here are the important details:

Nine days notice? If they cared, they would give more than 9 days of notice.

A fundamental element of the charette process is providing as much information as possible to participants. EYA has its own website which they update regularly, but they have shown no interest in posting anything.
Insufficient notice, no questions allowed at the first meeting, nothing provided to the neighborhood in writing or posted on the internet. This is not a charrette, this is a charade.
